Summer music camp ... for adults and families

The WCAMS annual summer music camp welcomes amateur musicians of all ages and abilities. Our popular faculty-in-residence provide friendly, professional instruction which focuses on building confidence and musical skills. Adults and children alike participate in a broad range of musical activities, with a special music, movement, drama and visual arts program specifically designed for children (entering Grades 1-5) and special classes for youth (entering Grades 6-9).

Aims of WCAMS music camp

  • Encourage people to make their own style of music, without pressure.

  • Provide every participant with a supportive atmosphere.

  • Develop every participant's individual musicality.

  • Enable individuals to gain small-ensemble experience with players of like ability.

  • Offer as many players as possible the opportunity to experience orchestral playing.

  • Provide participants with varied musical styles and experiences.

Idyllic setting

Located at Trinity Western University in the beautiful Fraser Valley, this retreat-like setting boasts tennis courts, forests, trails and creeks, and is close to swimming and wave pools, helicopter tours, horseback riding and golf. The University offers an ideal venue for relaxed music-making for the whole family.
