Programs for Children and Youth (ages 6-13):  The programs run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day, with a games session at 4:00 p.m.

Special classes are organized for students ages 6-13.  The younger children (ages 6-10) have an integrated program of music, movement, drama and visual arts.  The older students have vocal and instrumental classes taught by a variety of faculty members.

Folk Singing: Folk Singing is a drop-in session in the evening (6:50 - 8:10 PM).  Repertoire varies according to the interests of the group and in previous years has included a wide range of genres such as gospel, spirituals, pop and African songs.

Mixed Choir (SATB): This group sings music in the traditional four-part setting, usually with piano accompaniment. Repertoire varies widely: in the past few years, works have ranged from Brahms "Liebeslieder" to a modern, highly entertaining, arrangement of Lewis Carroll's verse "Jabberwocky". Sight-reading ability is an asset, but is not essential.

Women's choir (SSA): This group usually sings three-part music although other arrangements are sometimes used. Music ranges from sixteenth century unaccompanied motets to modern Canadian folksongs with piano accompaniment. Sight-reading ability is an asset, but is not essential.

Early Music: Is a tremendous amount of fun! Conducted by Karen Epp, it is one of the larger mixed ensembles. Karen works with an eclectic range of singers, recorder players, some early percussion instruments and whichever instrumentalists show up to give it a try. Any instrument can be melded into the mix. Sometimes original lyrics are incorporated. A variety of pieces are explored early in the week and several selected to polish for performance.
